Since 2016 Denitsa has been working and developing her clinical practice as a family counsellor at the Centre for Psychological Counselling "Phoenix" - Plovdiv. Later she joined the team of the Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration of Children and Youth at Risk, also as a family consultant.

 

She supports and works with children and families with different experiences and life paths - biological parents, adoptive parents and adopted children, families of loved ones and relatives.

 

Over the years she has taken part as a specialist in various programmes and projects related to the subjects of violence towards women and children, developing social and emotional competence in children, supporting and training parents to develop sensitive and responsible parenting.

 

She is currently continuing her qualification - "Family and Marriage Therapy" at the Bulgarian Association of Family Therapy /BAFT/.
She is a member of the Ethics Committee of the Bulgarian Association of Family Therapy.

She has more than 10 years of experience in the field of social services for children and families from different target groups.
